Objectives of Information Technology Center are the following ones:

• application of progressive information and Internet-technologies in educational process of the Academy, application of modern means of training, software and hardware systems;
• development of software products for support of educational, medical, scientific processes and other types of activities of the Academy;
• methodological and consulting support for users of modern means of training and computer devices of the Academy, local network and Internet;
• assistance in development of material base for application technical means of training and application of computer equipment in the training process;
• exploitation and software and technical support of corporate local computer network, software and hardware complexes to Internet access, assistance in their further development;
• provision of computer and Internet-classes with smooth operation;
• centralized repair and preventative maintenance of technical training aids and computer devices of the Academy.

Specialists of the Information Technology Center designed programs for accounting of diplomas and certificates issued by the Academy; for accounting residents, graduate students and foreign students who undergo training at the Academy; accounting of treatment work performed by departments of the Academy, and many other software products to ensure the ongoing activities of the Academy’s structures and services. With participation of the ITC program for test control of knowledge of doctors in the qualification of certified category, as well as for the certification of nurses is designed. Specialists of the Information Technology Center designed a test programme for knowledge evaluation of physicians being certified for qualification categories, and also nurses credentialing. Specialists of Information Technology Center have developed distance learning courses.

To provide academic teaching staff, specialists of departments, as well as graduate students and degree seekers with constant Internet access at the Academy, there had been opened and equipped online classes, there had been organized wireless Internet access.

Information Technology Center performs work related to the constant updating and refining the website of BelMAPE. Academy website is available in several languages: English, Russian, Spanish and Arabic (http://www.belmapo.by). In 2006 web-site of the Academy took the 2^nd place in Internet Award “Tibo’2006” in the nomination «Education and Science», in 2008 it took the 2^nd place in Internet Award in the nomination «Health and Medicine».

In the structural units of the Academy there are more than 85 multimedia projectors, over 550 computers and other modern office devices.

Staff of Information Technology Center assists specialists of the Academy in making video clips, presentations, books, poster sessions.
