  Therapy Faculty is a subdivision of the Academy, which consists of 12 departments:

  • Department of Gerontology and Geriatrics with a Course of Allergology and Occupational Pathology
  • Department of Gastroenterology and Nutritiology
  • Department of Dermatovenereology and Cosmetology
  • Department of Cardiology and Rheumatology
  • Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy
  • Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery
  • Department of Psychiatry and Narcology
  • Department of Pulmonology and Tuberculosis
  • Department of Reflexotherapy
  • Department of Functional Diagnostics
  • Department of Therapy
  • Department of Endocrinology
  • The Faculty was founded  in 1963.
  • The Faculty was formed in 1963.

The Faculty is well-equipped with modern devices and teaching materials which offer a high level of postgraduate training for therapists. Clinical bases of the departments of the Faculty are leading health institutions of Belarus and Republican Scientific and Practical Centers.

At present, there are 105 lecturers working at 12 departments of the Faculty. Among them there are 24 Doctors of Medical Sciences, 65 - Candidates of Medical Sciences.

Annually, more than 4000 doctors attend advanced training courses on the following specialties:

Scientific and research work is carried out on the issues which are the most actual ones for the Republic of Belarus, aiming at the improvement of diagnostic techniques and creation of new approaches to treatment.
The results of scientific and research work are being successfully implementing either in educational or practical healthcare.

The Faculty has intensive PhD and Doctoral training courses for scientific and teaching personnel.
The teaching staff of the Faculty does a great deal of treatment and consultation work at clinical bases, in healthcare establishments of Minsk region and the Republic of Belarus in general.

Establishments of higher education
